Saxenburg New Collection
April marks the introduction of a new look, new packaging and new wines for Saxenburg. Recognising and reflecting the continued need for excellence Saxenburg launches the Private Collection 2003 red wine varietals in stylish bespoke bottles from Italy.
The introduction of the new packaging for Private Collection Shiraz, Private Collection Merlot, Private Collection Cabernet Sauvignon and Private Collection Pinotage endorses a new initiative at Saxenburg. We have reduced the number of bottles permitted to wear the "PC" label. Only the cr?me de la cr?me of the Saxenburg fruit will make the grade for Private Collection. In essence, we have reduced the volume and increased the quality through meticulous selection in the vineyard, cellar and still further selection from the barrel before bottling. For more information about the 2003 Private Collection wines, select the "Our Wines" button.
The new bottles which proudly carry the Saxenburg logo - three guinea fowl - were silk-screen printed in gold onto heavy-weight bottles in Italy. Good design seems to be synonymous with Italy and Saxenburg were prepared to go to the other side of the world to find something which met and reflected our exacting standards. To accentuate the clean image, we kept the labelling chic and uncluttered; all the legal requirements go to the back label.
Our new image reflects more accurately our modern, dynamic and enduring approach to wine. In addition to improved quality in our wines and new packaging we have introduced a new corporate identity for Saxenburg too. Saxenburg will instantly be recognised by the new black, red and gold signature colours. The colours are really striking and reflect the status of Saxenburg in the South African market and on the worldwide stage.
