Saxenburg Guinea Fowl 2007
Saxenburg Guinea Fowl 2007

Winemaker’s comments
This is the maiden vintage for Saxenburg Guinea Fowl Rosé. The Shiraz adds richness and structure to the blend whilst the Pinotage is fresh and fruity. Guinea Fowl Rosé is a perfect aperitif, great with chicken, salad and fish dishes. Serve chilled.

Vinification Details
The healthy grapes are picked early in the morning before the heart of the day warms the fruit on the vine. The grapes are pressed immediately. The skins are quickly removed leaving an elegant "onion skin" colour. The grape juice settles and the clear juice fermented cold for intense flavour. Long lees contact for complexity however no Malo-lactic fermentation.
