Selected from the best of Saxenburg, this wine will complement any serious occasion and cuisine.

Vinification Details
Hand picked grapes from 2 vineyards fermented with Shiraz-friendly yeast to express maximum cultivar and vintage character. 24 Days skin contact was allowed and malolactic fermentation in new French and American oak barrels where it remained for 3 months without SO2. The wine was then racked, SO2 added and matured a further 12 months in the same barrels without racking.

July 2003 without fining and only a coarse filtration.
